Dive Master Internship

I was planning to get a Dive Master so that I can start working as one and would like some pointers from people who have gone through this.

1. What are the better paying locations to work in? I understand that it is not a job that pays well, but still...

2. Can anybody recommend a good place to do Dive Master internship?
I just did Rescue Diver in Florida and got an impression that it was not as profitable for instructors as say a short Open Water course with several participants so they would always give those higher priority. As a result even though my course was half done by the time I got there and I only needed a couple of days worth, I ended up spending 10 days. It was nice since I got free dives, but a Dive Master is a much longer thing and I can't afford to spend 6 months on it instead of 1 while I am being used for free labor instead of being trained. Of course I would also like a place where the diving is good, the training is adequate and the whole thing is cheap.

3. I have heard that as a Dive Master you have to buy an expensive insurance and are liable even if you are just diving with a buddy and not working. Is that true?

Hello, I am working as a scuba diver for quiet a long time and can help you with the questions.

Firstly the liability is true. You have their equipement so whatever you do with it, you take responsibility.

Better paid locations? I guess you should go with with human developement index and simply he more developed country you will work in the more you will get paid and better working condition you ll get.
