    Default Mexico recomendations

I am a fairly experience diver (over 100) and am going to cancun in November on primarily a golf trip but want to get a couple of dives in while there. I have dove with Aquaworld on 2 seperate trips, including Cenote, Cozumel, Night etc. The question is, I am finding it very difficult to find any other options as the Aquaworld boats tend to be big cattleboats. I am hoping someone has a good recomendation for a good small dive shop and a couple cool new things to do.

    Thanks

    Chris

Try Aquanauts in Puerto Aventuras, or Geo Fish Divers in Playa Del Carmen. Tell them Murray sent you.

    Default Cancun

I will be in Cancun at the Sun Palace Oct. 24-31. I did not want to travel south to Playa Del Carmen, etc., so I am using the in-house dive shop there. I will give a review while I'm there; but they seemed knowledgeable and friendly when I spoke to them on the phone.
I usually go to Cozemul to dive; so we thought we would try Cancun for something diffdrent.

I use Solo Buceo when in Cancun. I just returned from a 10 day trip there and they were great. Boats are small and dives based on experience. I did 2 cenotes, 2 wrecks, 2 nights, and the usual reef dives.

Chris: I have done dives with Scuba Cancun and Solo Buceo, both in Cancun. I prefer Scuba Cancun, the boats were a little bigger and better equipped. The dive shop is on the main road between the hotel strip and the town of Cancun (just beyond the hugh Mexican flag.) Do a trip to Cozumel next time; dving there is much better. JAMES
