Night Diving

So, the Specialty of the Month for October is Night Diving. Does anyone have any favorite night dives they'd like to share? I just did a night dive in Roatan that was pretty cool - there was phosphorescent plankton everywhere, so, every time you waved your hand, there would be a trail of sparkles. It was like being Harry Potter! It was a shallow dive, so I was down for over an hour. During the dive, a heat lightning storm started. For the longest time I thought, "who is taking so many underwater photos?!?!" Then it occured to me that it was mother nature making those bright flashes. Oops!

Best night dive ever was in 26 feet of water in Bonaire at Town pier. Sea horses, tarpon fishing in divers lights, starfish, turtles.
