I am interested in purchasing a Dive shop
I am from South Africa, would there be a problem in Mexico for me to own a business and imirgrate there?
Any idea?

hey there, congrats on making it to the world cup final! Thats lekker! so anyway, to own a business in mexico you would need to apply for an fm3, which is basically the last stage before citizenship which would be beneficial if you wanted to own property there. You could own land through a bank trust, also known as fidecomiso. if all you want is a dive shop then the fm3 should be fine. I have found that the process of application is a lot quicker when you go to the embassy whereveer you may be rather than in mexico, though im not sure if its the same for south africans.
