new diver diving beyond rec limits

I got certified in the beginning of June. I have logged 8 dives so far and have 8 planned before the middle of august. I plan on taking Advanced at the end of August. My uncle dove in teh Navy and is a Rescue Diver at the moment. He wants to take me on a 160 foot dive in Lake Michigan. I'm not too sure if I should go or not, but I would like some others opinions.

If you feel confortable in sweet water diving, going with a senior diver to 160 feet deep is something possible, I do not see it a problem.
