Stuffy head from diving?

Hello all. Very new to diving having only done 2 confined dives in the pool so far. I find that I am unable to clear the stuffiness in my head (feels like its congested) since my first dive 2 weeks ago. My instructor, whom I trust, says its probably just a cold. Does anyone else have an opinion? I'd like to know if I need to go to a doctor or something? Allergy/cold medicine is doing nothing.

Do you find you're having a hard time equalizing or that your head just feels stuffy? If you can, it never hurts to check with your doctor. I went in because I have problems equalizing and my doctor was able to get me some extra-strength sudafed which helps me a lot. It also helps when I equalize at the surface, even before I start my descent.

Took your advice. Docotor gave me Flonase and a mild steroid for my ears. Starting to feel better already. THANKS!
