Vacation Double Occupancy

I would love to go on a dive vacation maybe a liveaboard but every vacation package is priced for double occupancy does anyone know of any dive vacations for a guy who just wants to go on his own.sorry I put this question in the instuction forum aswell by mistake.

I talked to a friend at PADI travel about your question. She said with any Society Event you have the opportunity to room with another diver of the same gender and thereby get the double occupancy rate. Also, she said, liveaboards offer a similar thing called "share cabins." For more info you can call PADI Travel Network at: 800-729-7234 x2. Or ptn1@padi.com. Be sure and let them know what dive center you go to regularly.

The other thing you can do is find another single "buddy" to go with. My wife doesn't dive, so when I get a weekend (or week) my trips are usually alone. Let me know when you are looking at going, ya never know!
