I am 27 years old and vent-dependent with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. I love everything to do with scuba diving. I have one last goal I want to accomplish in my life and that is to go scuba diving! My doctor, his colleagues and some other contacts I have are working on it. I have friends that work at DUI that are going to help me if the technical details about using a vent underwater get worked out. Please contact me if you know of anybody that could help. I have already been in touch with some handicapped scuba groups, but they don't have experience with ventilators. Thank you for any replies!
