I'm new to scuba and am contemplating buying the Aeris XT Package. Pro 1st and 2nd stage, Atmos 2 dive computer, Aeris XT BC, and Aeris Air Link. Does anyone have any experience with this equipment?

I too am new to scuba and was initially drawn by the package offerred by Aeris but after considerable research I have decided to choose a different regulator. Sport Diver's Nov 03 "Best New Regs" article reports the Atmos Pro to breath rather wet and although it breaths freely in the swimming position it is more labored in the face up and face down positions. I am leaning toward the Aqualung and Apeks products. The XT BC is still a candidate BC. I have found for just a bit more money, I can assemble what I belive to be a higher quality suit of equipment. Consider these options:

BC:Seaquest Balance, Sequest Black Diamond or Aeris XT
Reg: Aqualung Titan LX, IST R10 or Apek ATX 50

I don't want to replace anything soon so I am looking for equipment that will serve the highest need I may throw at it in the next 5 years.
